The Australian Doctors Orchestra
April 23 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The Australian Doctors Orchestra (ADO) is proud to present their premier 2017 concert in Bendigo on behalf of The OTIS Foundation and would like to invite you to the performance at Ulumbarra Theatre.
The ADO is a unique national fellowship of over 600 medical professionals who are also classically trained musicians. Since their first concert in 1993, the orchestra has played a concert every year and in every state, using each occasion to raise funds for charity and this year The OTIS Foundation are the recipients. Over 80 medical professionals from all around Australia, including Bendigo Health doctors Beth Pennington and Travis Perera, will donate their time and energy rehearsing for two days culminating in a performance on Sunday 23 April 2017 at the Ulumbarra Theatre on behalf of The OTIS Foundation.
All proceeds from the Bendigo concert will be donated to The OTIS Foundation – a charitable organisation established to nurture and support women and their families experiencing breast cancer by offering retreat accommodation, at no cost. It is the only national charity dedicated to providing the gift of time and space, in peaceful environments, that creates opportunities to rest, reflect, reprioritise and rejuvenate.
