Vicki (nee Hazeldene) was born and has lived her whole life in Bendigo.
She attended Kangaroo Flat Primary and then Golden Square High school before embarking on a Nursing Career. Vicki’s General Training was undertaken at the Northern District School of Nursing and she worked at the Bendigo Base Hospital. A fourth year of midwifery training was undertaken at Bendigo where, apart from a 12 month stint working at Inglewood, Vicki continued her midwifery work at Stanistreet House for the next 5 years.
Following her marriage and the arrival of 3 daughters, the family business attracted a different aspect and was more suitable to family life. Several roles have been filled within the family business with the majority of work done in the farming side.
Now Manager of Corporate Affairs at Hazeldenes, Vicki manages acquisitions, property management and development, grain purchasing and feed as well her continuing interest in the farming side of the business.
Vicki has been involved in many organisations and charities throughout her life and Vicki says that the New Bendigo Hospital Appeal will be the most exciting she has undertaken.
