Through the ongoing support of our sponsors and partners, the Bendigo Health Foundation funds health projects that make a sincere difference to the lives of our patients and their families.

Bendigo Health has been fundraising since the early 1800’s. The Bendigo Health Foundation team, with volunteer support, coordinates all fundraising for the organisation and provides a link between Bendigo Health and various groups, service clubs, individuals, corporate sponsors and philanthropic organisations. Monies raised through the foundation, fund various aspects towards improving patient care and are allocated to areas within Bendigo Health in a number of ways. Annual funding rounds provide the opportunity for Bendigo Health staff to assist in determining where donated funds are spent across the entire service.  Staff are invited to submit applications for identified equipment and a panel is gathered to determine successful applicants. Equipment purchased for the June 2015 to January 2016 period totaled $478,317 and assisted the following areas:
