Over Easter, Frankie and Co Clothing had a warehouse fundraiser so the Women’s Clinic could purchase a transcutaneous jaundice meter (TcB). This is a small portable device that can measure the level of bilirubin value of newborns and infants.
Bendigo Health midwives visit mothers and babies in our community and use this device when required to assess a baby’s bilirubin levels, rather than obtaining a blood sample. This particular meter will be used by Mamta caseload midwives. Thank you Frankie and Co for this valuable donation.
