We did it!!
Congratulations to these superstars AKA " OPAU Dawdlers". I have lost count of how many times I have increased our goal to achieve this great outcome. You all should be super proud of your efforts with this fundraiser, I know I am and this demonstrates your passion and commitment to your job, but more so to your patients. The money raised from this fundraiser makes such a difference to the people we care for and to know we have raised $7000 is incredible. Let's all get our thinking caps on for next year where we raise the bar higher. Thank you to everyone in our team who worked so hard to achieve this outcome. Dawdlers have been plodding along and again we have raised our target to $5000!! We are confident we can pull this off and set us up with a target for next year.Fundraising time!

We have again raised the fundraising target and are getting pretty pumped about how far we can go. Look out for some fundraising challenges coming soon...Great work OPU Dawdlers :)Not even half way through September and already kicking our fourth fundraising goal!
What donations have been used for previously:
· Entry to fitness facilities local to patients, across the Loddon Mallee area
· Equipment such as shoes to enable patients to participate in physical activity
· Sporting equipment for patients with a preference for sport and games rather than fitness facilities
· Transport to access fitness facilities
We’re wanting to fundraise for more access for more people.

Our team represents the Older Persons Acute Mental Health unit, and we have signed up to participate in the 2023 Move for Mental Health challenge. We support this fundraiser as we have seen the benefits of this for our patients. Our patients have the opportunity to be involved in an exercise program under the guidance of our Exercise Physiologist, and with a fully decked out gym, and opportunity for individual and group programs, we are so grateful our patients can participate. Supporting Move for Mental Health will help raise funds to improve mental health services for patients throughout the Loddon Mallee region. 100% of the proceeds go to Bendigo Health.
