Community support delivers new equipment for better patient care
One way that community support makes an impact at Bendigo Health is by enabling the Bendigo Health Foundation to facilitate the purchases of medical equipment.
Thanks to generous community donations, Bendigo Health has recently purchased a specialised skin grafting device to support our surgical team in treating patients with complex wounds, burns and skin cancers. This advanced equipment allows surgeons to take thin layers of healthy skin and transplant them to areas that need healing, helping patients recover more comfortably and with improved outcomes. The addition of this device enhances the hospital’s ability to provide world-class care close to home, and we’re incredibly grateful to our donors for making this possible.
