Taylah’s brave act raises over $10,000 for cancer support
When Taylah’s mum, Penny, was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year, it was a big shock for the family. As Penny began radiotherapy and chemotherapy at Bendigo Health, Taylah decided to show her support in a very special way.
On Sunday, 14 September, Taylah shaved her hair in solidarity with her mum, turning the moment into a celebration of love and community with an afternoon tea for family, friends and supporters.
Thanks to Taylah’s bravery, more than $10,000 was raised for the Cancer Wellness Centre at Bendigo Health. These vital funds will help provide care and support for people facing cancer and their families.
